What to Expect

Sunday morning is filled with all ages:

Greeters to welcome you with a handshake and smile. Stop by the Welcome Center. It is staffed with people who know the ministries and programs of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (LCOOR). Our bulletins not only give the order of worship, but also include a calendar for the week and Mission Opportunities. Fellowship Hour happens between the Sunday worship services and offer a time for coffee and conversation.

Wednesday evening explodes with energy:

Beginning with a light meal for the whole family, church school follows.  Click here for the complete schedule for youth and adults.

This 45-minute worship service (6:30 – 7:15pm) gives a pared down version of Sunday worship.  What a great way to add to an evening of Christian education and fellowship.

Saturday evening:

The Saturday preceding the first Sunday of the month, a Pastor will be presiding over worship and Holy Communion will be served.  The remainder of the Saturdays, the sermon time will be projected on the screens of the previous weekend worship with a lay leader leading the rest of the worship service.

For families with children:

Families are encouraged to worship together. During the school year three Sundays a month, children ages 3 – grade 2 are invited to the Chapel during the Sermon time for Children’s Church. The last Sunday of the month and Sundays during the summer, children are invited forward in church for a Children’s Sermon just for them.  The noise of children in worship is welcome. Activity bags for children, with coloring sheets, crayons and books, are available for your use during worship. The Nursery is available if needed, but not staffed.

Our building is handicap accessible. We recommend the South Entrance, as it is closest to the sanctuary.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 605-886-2696.

We invite you to join us in worship!
