| To the members and friends of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer: Grace to you and peace! It is with deep gratitude to God that we serve as pastors in the church, and specifically in this congregation. Each of us has our roots in different states, different paths by which we entered the pastoral ministry, and different gifts that we bring to the church. But, we have our unity in Christ Jesus, and in our common callings to lead and serve among you as ones who "Make Jesus Christ Known Through Word and Deed". As we engage in the Gospel work among you, we also ask for your prayers and your partnership. Pastors indeed have a role to play in the church, but we are not its only leaders and servants. Each believer has gifts to bring to our common ministry. So, we encourage you to daily ask of God where and how He may be leading you to be about the work of the kingdom. Then through using your gifts within our congregation and beyond, we can all celebrate in our ministry of "Making Jesus Christ Known Through Word and Deed".
